A Saucerful Of Floyd – Pink Floyd Tribute

As ‘The Racketeers’, Bob Stiff, Tim Haigh, Ben Stiff and Stevie Doherty had been one of Suffolks’ most popular rock covers bands for a number of years. With the set becoming more than a little ‘Floyd’ heavy and with all the guys being huge Floyd fans, it seemed like it was time to move away from the Racketeers and concentrate on putting together a ‘Floyd’ show and so ‘A Saucerful of Floyd’ was born! Within a few months ASoF had been voted ‘Gig of the year’ by BBC Radio Suffolk …..nice! Now, with the addition of Jane Elston on sax and keyboards and Paul Gray replacing Ben on drums the band is sounding better than ever! Shine on!

THE RAT PACK SHOW : Start your evening with a swing. He even does a couple of Take That hits (“Could It Be Magic”, “The Flood” and a fantastic medley of “Pray, Everything Changes and Relight My Fire”!)

This act has a fantastic light show and is truly just like the real thing, from authentic Robbie costumes and microphone stand, right down to the tattoos.

THE MICHAEL BUBLE SHOW : With a clever mix of swing, pop and original Buble material, this show caters for young and old alike. Rat Pack swing such as “Call Me Irresponsible” and “Feeling Good” merge beautifully with pop standards like “Moondance” and “Cry Me A River”. Put that together with Michael Buble’s “Everything” and “Hollywood” (amongst others) and you’ve got a thoroughly entertaining and well crafted show.

Alternatively, these shows can be performed individually.

We can also cover the whole evening’s entertainment with a fully functional and supervised disco in between live sets providing a full evening’s music.  All the equipment is PAT tested and the show is covered by full Public Liability Insurance.

Bootleg Blondie

Bootleg Blondie is Europe’s No.1 Deborah Harry and Blondie tribute band and the only Blondie tribute to play at the Isle Of Wight Festival and the legendary CBGBs in New York City. CBGBs was the Holy Grail of American Punk and New Wave, where the real Blondie kicked off their career.

Debbie Harris, lead vocalist of Bootleg Blondie, has the looks, the voice and attitude of the original Blondie Bombshell, and like her heroine is typically outrageous on stage. She has been known to wear dustbin liners, thigh high boots and t.shirts with more holes than t.shirt!

Debbie Harris and the boys have met the REAL Blondie and are officially endorsed by the band. Deborah Harry got in touch when she heard the band were playing at CBGBs to wish us good luck with our show and both Deborah and Chris Stein have signed the band’s guitars. Clem Burke, Blondie’s charismatic drummer, found out that we were making a replica of his Premier drum kit and arranged to meet us. He signed our bass drum skin which we use for all our shows. During the Blondie’s 2010 UK tour we took Clem out for a trip around London in our tour bus and he even signed that too!!!

Debbie has appeared as a Deborah Harry look-a-like on ITV’s ‘The Mint’ and has been featured in the The Sunday Observer, photographed by the famous rock photographer Kevin Cummins, who co-incidentally has worked with the real Deborah Harry and Blondie!

Debbie Harris is the niece of the celebrated singer and actress Shani Wallis who played Nancy in Lionel Bart’s musical film ‘Oliver’!

Status Quo Tribute: Quo-Incidence

Quo-incidence are an authentic UK tribute to the legendary rockers, and have gigged all the country, faithfully re-creating the distinct ‘QUO’ sound since their formation in 1999.

The band have played many venues and music festivals over the years and most recently appeared at the Spa Tribute Festival in Belgium and the Newt Beer Festival in Somerset, playing to crowds of over 5000 on each day.

In March 2009 the band were honoured to perform on the same bill as Quo bassist John ‘Rhino’ Edwards’  band Woodedz. Some of Quo’s crew and management were also in attendance and were very complimentary of the bands performance, with Rhino himself saying they were the best Quo tribute he had seen!

Steemy Dan

Whilst listening to the Nightfly Album during a late night party in the spring of 2008 a friend of mine suggested somewhat whimsically that I form a Steely Dan tribute band.

Having been a life long admirer I decided to accept the challenge and over the following months assembled a Ten-piece band with the sole purpose of celebrating the music of Donald and Walter.

This band is one of only a few in the UK to even attempt playing this beautifully constructed and challenging music with its wonderful amalgam of styles and genres.

The Magical Musicals

The Magical Musicals show (formerly the Magic of Musicals) is a live production of the best songs from London’s West End and Broadway musical theatre shows.

Our show is Wicked, well it’s a bit more as we have selected shows like Les Miserable, Phantom of the Opera, Cats. Chicago, Hairspray, Sunset Boulevard, Miss Saigon, Chess, Mamma Mia, We will Rock you, Footloose the list goes on and on……..and changes regularly!

Our show is live, performed by fulltime professional artistes who have worked literally all over the world on some of the biggest stages. Truly allowing us to use the phrase “International Artistes”

We travel with our own sound engineer who operates our state of the art PA and stage lighting equipment, all the equipment is P.A.T. and we have Public Liability Insurance £5m. All documents can be emailed beforehand and all documents are carried on all shows.

So far we have over 1000 shows under our belt, having performed all over the UK, Europe, USA, UAE and Asia climaxing at the Seoul Olympic Arena in South Korea which was televised live, on KBS TV to an audience exceeding 6,000,000. Again allowing us to use the term “International show”.

The show is suitable for all venues large and small; we have performed in just about every type of venue, from Ships, Dorchester Hotel for a corporate party of just 20! Holiday camps, village halls, playing fields, theatre’s, again an endless list….As are our clients: ranging from Private Parties, Weddings, Corporate, Holiday Parcs, and Hotel’s Etc.

Despite being a fulltime international production show we remain affordable with our feet firmly on the ground. We do not have a large management company behind charging exuberant fees.

We carry enough PA for an audience up to 400, we also offer use of mics for speeches, background music, music after our show with no extra fee involved. However we can provide any size PA system for an additional fee.

The Pistols

THE PISTOLS formed in 2004, and is a full-blown Sex Pistols tribute act recreating the rawness of the original band.

They hail from good old London Town where the UK punk movement was born way back in the 1970′s.

THE PISTOLS are a frighteningly close authentication of the original band but with added flair, charm, wit and humour.

With front man Paul a dead-ringer for Johnny Rotten himself.

And of course there has to be something for The Ladies: Sexy Sid Vicious performs his encores stripped to the waist!! (and if the cheers are loud enough his swastika Y-fronts!)

Not forgetting Steve Tones ‘Guitar Hero’ adding a little spice for the female of the species.

The band perform a blistering 90 minute show which includes all of the anti-hits made famous by the Sex Pistols in the late 1970′s, such as Anarchy In The UK, Pretty Vacant and God Save The Queen. Add to this a special ‘Sid Sings’ tribute to the notorious Sid Vicious, including I Wanna Be Your Dog, My Way, Something Else and C’Mon Everybody, and you are all set for a spectacular show.

The Replicatorz

The Replicatorz are a 3-piece Tribute act with superb sound system and full light show, props, makeup and costume changes.

To Bob is made up from a pot of respected musicians from various bands.

The five piece line-up consisting of our ‘Bob on lead vocals, acoustic guitar and harp, two guitarist, bass guitar and drums’.

The outfit have been playing together as To Bob for over 4 years, the sound is like a mix of Dylan, Faces and Rolling Stones which you can checkout on there live Cd and Dvd.

Bob Dylan himself has given the band the thumbs up when he took time out on his 2005 London concert in Finsbury Park. Bob checked out the band performing live at the Blackstock Taven right opposite his concert. Bob was tipped off by his sound engineer who overheard familiar songs while passing by. To Bob only found out about Bob’s visit after the landlord passed on five free passes for the show left by Bob’s soundman, with a message, “Rock & Roll-come on over and see how it done for real. Bob”. Who else can give you a better reference that the Man who you are a tribute too?
